2018 Optimum Growth

The Gateway OT Logistics Group experienced Optimum Growth in 2018 in all facets of the business including Gateway Crate and Freight (Custom Crating and Packing), Gateway Intermodal (Rail), Gateway Optimum Transportation (Truckload and LTL Freight) as well as our new DeliveXy service (Last Mile, Inside Delivery Services) 

2018 saw Gateway expand into Larger offices and cross dock warehousing space in Chandler Arizona. Gateway also opened a new warehouse and office in Tukwila, Washington as well as adding service staff in San Bernadino, California and Henderson, Nevada.

A number of our clients were responsible for the exponential growth we had in these areas. 

One client relied on Gateway O.T to Distribute, Cross Dock and Inside Deliver and Assemble with Debris Removal over 10,000 large furniture units in 2018, which we installed in multiple locations in ALL 50 states. Gateway is now going into our third year of supplying nationwide coverage for this client including servicing Alaska, Hawaii and the U.S Territories. We even delivered to North Pole, Alaska. Does Santa live here?  

Another client had us delivering their product across the U.S as well. This product had to be shipped, disassembled, inside delivered and reassembled by our professional delivery crews. This product took us into many of the famous sports stadiums around the country like Pro Player Stadium, Chase Field, Vivent Arena, Philips Arena and Mile High Stadium.

The Gateway O.T Motor Carrier Division began hot shot runs and standard runs for a couple of clients based in the Los Angeles area between our facility in Chandler AZ and San Bernadino CA, allowing us to grow our pickup and delivery services in both the Southern California and Phoenix Metro markets.

An important client based in Arizona moved to the Seattle area, where Gateway Crate and Freight already had a good customer base of clients prompting the need to open a new warehouse that could also provide on demand IPPC certification crating for custom export crates in the Seattle Tacoma area. 

With large clients needing Trade Show crating, packing and shipping services, the need for a stronger presence in the Las Vegas area was a logical step in Gateways growth in 2018. Adding Gateway staff to the Henderson NV area allows us to provide the best service to our clients in Southern Nevada. 

International shipping both Ocean and Air saw optimal growth in 2018 as well. Gateway OT shipped to over 40 different countries last year with the vast majority of those shipments requiring Gateway Crate and Freight to crate, pack and ship using our IPPC certified materials.

As a Veteran Owned Business we are most proud of the work we do for the men and women of our Armed Forces and the work we do for the companies that support them. We have moved a number of jet engines flatbed this year for our engineering client who provides services to Military aircraft. Gateway also had the privilege of crating and shipping Satellites and Satellite  parts for multiple clients to NASA centers around the U.S. We also have a partner who provides Ballistic Paneled cubicles to the men and women of the armed forces around the U.S who work in areas that provide limited protection from attack.

2018 was a great year for Optimal Growth. 2019 is right around the corner and Gateway OT and our logistics family is poised to grow even more to support our clients who believe in what we do and how we do it. We have picked up auction items such as antiques, restaurant equipment, computers, water meter readers, and even a walk through metal detector.
